What type of health guarantee do you offer?

Your puppy is guaranteed for 1 year from the date of whelp against hereditary and congenital defects that are life threatening.  We do not guarantee fertility or performance.  That being said we have been breeding labs since 1990 and have an exceptional record or sending home happy, healthy, loving dogs.

What should I do after I bring home my new puppy?

We strongly encourage that within a week of ownership, your puppy needs to be seen by your vet to be put on their schedule of shots and worming.  Parvovirus is the leading killer of puppies and young dogs.  It is best not to introduce your puppy to any situations where there could be contamination from any of these diseases (i.e. parks, pet stores, woods, small streams) until all shots are given.  Rabies shots are required after 16 weeks.

What has been done for my puppy prior to me taking my new best friend home?

Approximately 5 days after they were born, they had their dew claws removed and they were examined by our veterinarian.  At approximately 5 weeks old they received their first puppy shots for canine distemper and Parvo.  They were also wormed at that time.
